I didn't get this picture done in time to include a copy in our Christmas cards.

Merry E-Christmas
By Naomi, on behalf of Matt, Naomi, Rocket and Roxanne

At first, I wasn't going to write a Christmas Newsletter this year, because of the descension it causes in my immediate family, but then I heard through someone, whos name I won't reveal, that their husband, who happens to be my brother, was going to try to write a "badder-#@!" Christmas newsletter than me. I couldn't let that happen. So, in an attempt to be badder than my big bro, I have come up with a genius idea that will surely blow any idea he might have out of the water. I am writing an environmentally conscious E-newsletter by putting it on the internet. Not only does this newsletter prevent the killing of innocent trees and try to slow the effects of global warming, but it also has an "E" for a prefix, and everyone knows that the coolest things today start with E or I.

Being the super bad-@!# family that we are, we decided to get the heck out of Utah this year. First we lived for a while in California and realized that we weren't exactly THAT hardcore, and so moved on to Colorado. It was like taking a pilgrimage back to our homeland. Currently, Matt's commute to work is about 76% shorter than it was in Utah, which we take pride in since we hate destroying the ozone layer. But don't worry, he is still doing some pretty intense stuff like helping to make rockets (that are super environmentally friendly, I think).

Here is a list of the most awesomest things that happened to us this year, in no particular order:
  1. We got "PIE" as our new Colorado license plate letters.
  2. Rocket wrote a book called "Journal of Danger" highlighting the most dangerous things in the world.
  3. We were homeless for 2 months.
  4. We saw the Grand Canyon.
  5. Roxanne was cute.
  6. Matt was the star of his company football team (or atleast I think he was, cause I never went to any of the games, but Rocket did and he told me that his dad was awesome on and off the field.)
  7. Naomi is selling her "fresh bling" jewelry in The Fabric Lab, a store in the artist district of downtown Denver.
  8. Rocket won the Fall Festival poster contest and had his named announced on the school intercom, which means he is famous.
  9. We got a tarantula named Ruby.
  10. We got a cat named Necklace. She has not met Ruby yet.
  11. We ate at In-And-Out-Burger and learned how to order off their "secret" menu.
  12. We watched "Fast Food Nation" and stopped eating hamburgers.
  13. We found "The Real World: Denver" house.
  14. We realized that climbing a mountain on an ATV is way better than hiking it.
  15. We fried a whole turkey with only minor fire damage.
  16. Roxanne got a pair of pink boots.
  17. We had a garage sale.
  18. Naomi met Jolleen.
  19. We watched High School Musical 2 and memorized all the songs.
  20. Rocket proved all of our suspicions wrong and finished the hike to Angelmyer lake and even caught a fish.
  21. We wrote a better Christmas newsletter than anyone else in the family! Booyah!

If you read this Christmas E-newsletter, than you have to prove it to us by signing your name in the comments box! Merry E-Christmas! Can't wait to hear from all of you!!
